Book
The Dead Poets Society or "le cercle des poètes disparus" in French is a book about teenagers in a prestigious and traditional university. They meet their English Teacher, Mr Keating, who will teach them that life is too short to be wasted, " Carpe Diem " he says. They will take this teaching and seize the day every day. I love this book because it is a beautiful way to describe exactly how we should all live, and because later in the book, it also shows the dark side and how difficult life can be, especially when you can't do the thing that makes you feel truly alive. This book is an absolute masterpiece; the movie adaptation is too, and you should definitely read it or watch it as soon as possible.
Movie
Interstellar is a movie set in our future where food is becoming harder and harder to produce. NASA starts looking for another planet to live on. The main character is a father who, through a strange gravitational phenomenon, will receive the coordinates of the new secret NASA project. The movie will follow him in his journey to find a new home for humanity and his encounter with words so different and so far from us. The movie really makes you feel like you are floating for eternity in the infinite void of our universe. From the beginning to the end, this movie is a work of art that will touch your heart and change the way you look at life forever. You NEED to watch it if you don't have.
